Affordable Modest Basics

I wanted to tell y’all about an online shop that I discovered called Nuggles. They are a modest boutique that specializes in private-label apparel for ladies and girls. One of my favorite things about them is that they carry basic pieces that you can wear with a lot of different outfits. And usually, when you find a favorite piece, they have a lot of other colors to choose from too! 😍 I am going to show y’all how I styled three basic pieces that they sent me!

This first piece is the Nicole Top. The stripes are navy and mustard. Its no secret that I love wearing stripes! I also love the 3/4 sleeve length. This top is so soft and comfortable. It’s available in different color options. I’m wearing a small!

The skirt that I’m wearing is their 31” Midi Skirt in mustard. I love the fact that it’s a straight midi skirt that isn’t too tight around the top. I’m pretty hippy 🍐, so I usually have to go up a few sizes in straight midi skirts. However I’m wearing my normal size small in this one. Be sure to check out the size chart to find your perfect size! They also have a 27” Midi Skirt. They come in a lot of different colors & patterns—including mustard, blush, kelly green, leopard, polka dot, and so many others. The best part is that they’re all currently on clearance for $20.99!!

They also sent me their 31” ruffled skirt extender (pictured above). I had never actually worn a skirt extender before. This one fit me so well and was so nice & thick that I decided to style it as a skirt! It could be worn with so many different outfits-either on its own or underneath another skirt or dress to add length. It’s available in blue, black, white, & cream!

It’s definitely worth your time to check out Nuggles and find some good staple pieces for your closet! They have been wonderful to work with!
